The Truth About Raw African Shea Butter

We will be talking about shea butter so over here as you can see is our butter whipping station so we have shea butters mango butter cocoa butters we also have some shea butter over here so there are three kinds of shea butter layers ivory.

there's yellow and there's white we don't carry white and African Naturals because the white shea butter is refined and bleached so therefore it's depleted of its nutrients now there's different grades of shea butter there's grade  A through F grade.

F is basically rancid grade A is the type you want to look for when you're purchasing shea butter because it's clean and it's fresh and you get it from good sources. So I will discuss ivory first and move on to the yellow now the ivory shea butter has the same healing properties as the yellow the difference is it doesn't have a root in it like the yellow one does which I will explain later the ivory is beige and light in color so don't mistake it for the white which is just white it's beige or light in color.

Therefore if you have light skin you don't want to have this yellowish tone or bronze tone you can use some people don't really care for the strong scent of shea butter as in the yellow. so they use the ivory because it has a lighter scent and it's also boiled for a longer period of time that's why mellows out the color as far as the yellow.

The yellow  will for a shorter period of time it's harder to absorb into the skin more so than the ivory the reason it's yellow is because it comes from route from the burro to to tree and it's placed in the milling process so that's why it's extra healing. Because the route from the tree is healing as well it evens out the skin tone and it has a strong nutty scent so whatever your preference is you can choose either over they're both very good butters.

Now some people will actually have a different type of butter and make it yellow and sell the shea butter but that's not shea butter as far as what shea butter does for the body it does lots of things some people for nasal congestion .If you have a stuffy nose you can use it to lighten dark spots to prevent stretch marks use it on wrinkles you can use it as a hair conditioner um for athlete's foot you can also use it for edginess as a massage oil for pariahs it's just a very Healing buttery it's a miracle butter

Some people call it women's gold because it provides income for women in certain African countries and because it's so healing and the women usually make it  there's different there's a different from shea butter if it's an East the East African region.
